An accountability partner is someone who you trust will hold you to the standards that you set for yourself.

Even if you don’t take constructive criticism well your accountability partner should be someone who will “tell it like it is.” If you are looking for real personal growth there is no room for others to tell you what you want to hear. An accountability partner should be powerful enough in your mind to push you when the fatigue sets in to reach further.

Who do they look like?

This person should not be judgmental towards you, someone you trust, and they also confide their goals in you. Being vulnerable to each other with your goals builds trust.
